Cameras have been used more than reasonable testing as in their shutter count. I have set acceptable levels as. Cameras dispatched with shutter count under 5000 Actuation's acceptable count 500 is Shots. From 4000 upwards, 750 is the acceptable level.

It allows you to test the camera without adding wear and tear, particularly on Low shutter counts & valuable cameras. The value can be negatively affected. I will always be fair and discuss my judgement if you are willing.
