1934 ALVIS SPEED 20 TOURER? LORD UNIQUE ORIGINAL VINTAGE PENCIL DRAWING 1934. This is a lovely drawing of what I think is a 1934 Alvis Speed 20 Tourer with I also think, bodywork by Vanden Plas.
Worked with Bill Urquart Dykes who raced Alvis cars at Brooklands, in the Tourist Trophy races in Northern Ireland and at the Le Mans 24 hour. Their art work accordingly featured many Alvis cars and other significant cars of the 1930's and 1940's.
Their work was published in the Alvis Club Magazine. Many of their works feature The Brooklands circuit in its heyday. They appear to have been very involved with activities generally at Brooklands.Whilst if the picture is framed, it is likely that the frame is not perfect but may be acceptable to you. I would suggest that this is an opportunity to have the picture re-mounted and framed to compliment the room in which you wish to hang it to optimise on its effect. Make the most of your art!
